1. Scope and Values
These Community Standards explain what is and is not allowed when people use Qannects to post, message, upload, comment, share, organize, donate, administer, stream, display, or otherwise contribute content.
Qannects policies are based on Islamic principles and values, including trust, truthfulness, justice, modesty, dignity, child protection, anti-exploitation, fair dealing, and community benefit.
These Standards apply across profiles, handles, bios, avatars, feed posts, comments, reactions, media, captions, tags, links, organization pages, mosque pages, workspace pages, events, janazah notices, donation appeals, messages, attachments, Watch videos, live streams, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, comments, TV/display content, reports, legal requests, support communications, Store preview surfaces, and future delivery surfaces where applicable.
2. Account and Content Responsibility
You are responsible for the content and activity you contribute through Qannects.
If you administer a workspace, organization, payment device, Watch channel, donation flow, display surface, or future commerce surface, you are also responsible for how that authority is used.
Do not use Qannects to evade moderation, hide abusive activity, coordinate harm, deceive users, or misuse access entrusted to you. Qannects may consider off-platform context when it is directly connected to platform safety, fraud, legal compliance, payment integrity, child safety, or abuse of Qannects services.
3. Truthful Identity and Honest Claims
Do not impersonate another person, organization, mosque, business, public figure, official, scholar, charity, payment operator, creator, administrator, seller, driver, or Qannects representative.
- Do not misrepresent identity, authority, affiliation, qualifications, fundraising purpose, donation recipient, tax or zakat status, copyright ownership, legal authority, payment details, event details, janazah information, Watch rights, product details, delivery status, or support role.
- Do not create false accounts, false workspace claims, fake reviews, fake donations, manipulated metrics, fake legal requests, or deceptive public pages.
4. Modesty, Pornography, and Sexual Content
A core objective of Qannects is to maintain a modest, family-safe, and values-based environment. Pornography, sexually explicit material, sexualized content, or content outside Qannects' modesty standards has no place on the platform.
This rule applies to text, images, video, audio, livestreams, thumbnails, avatars, bios, messages, attachments, links, profile content, comments, titles, tags, descriptions, uploads, and any other media or interaction.
- Do not post, upload, share, solicit, promote, sell, normalize, request, trade, bypass filters for, or distribute pornography, nudity, sexually explicit content, sexualized or immodest content, erotic services, sexual solicitation, sexually explicit audio, nonconsensual intimate imagery, sexual exploitation, sexual extortion, sexual harassment, trafficking-related content, grooming, or objectifying content.
- Do not use Qannects to request intimate images, pressure another person into sexual conduct, send unwanted sexual content, direct users to pornographic or sexual services, or hide prohibited sexual content behind links, previews, files, coded language, or external platforms.
- Sexualized content involving minors is strictly prohibited and may be treated as a severe safety violation.
Qannects may apply stricter standards than general social platforms because the service is based on Islamic principles and values.
5. Child Safety
Qannects has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation of minors, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, instructions to exploit minors, sexualized depictions of minors, or conduct that endangers children.
If Qannects believes child exploitation or serious child-safety risk may be involved, Qannects may remove content, preserve relevant information, restrict accounts or content, suspend accounts, escalate internally, report to appropriate authorities, or cooperate with lawful requests where required or appropriate.
6. Harassment, Threats, Hate, and Bullying
Do not harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, shame, dox, blackmail, extort, or target another person or group for abuse.
- This includes repeated unwanted contact, threats of violence, threats to expose private information, targeted insults, coordinated pile-ons, ridicule meant to degrade a person, abusive use of mentions or tags, and encouraging others to harass someone.
- Do not attack, dehumanize, threaten, or encourage exclusion or violence against people based on protected or vulnerable characteristics, including religion, race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, disability, age, caste, immigration status, or similar characteristics protected by law or policy.
- Qannects may also restrict sectarian abuse, inflammatory religious provocation, or misuse of religious identity to humiliate, intimidate, exploit, or incite harm.
7. Religious and Community Integrity
Qannects supports respectful religious and community discussion. Do not use religious texts, religious authority, community status, scholarship claims, mosque affiliation, or spiritual pressure to deceive, shame, exploit, harass, threaten, incite harm, or manipulate users.
- Do not present personal views, fundraising claims, organizational decisions, payment requests, product listings, or future services as religiously certified unless a specific qualified review and written authorization exists.
- Do not misuse religious identity or community trust to raise funds dishonestly, pressure users, silence good-faith concerns, or claim authority that you do not have.
8. Violence, Self-Harm, and Dangerous Conduct
Do not threaten violence, encourage violence, glorify serious physical harm, coordinate attacks, share instructions for violent wrongdoing, or use Qannects to endanger others.
- Do not encourage self-harm, suicide, eating-disorder behavior, dangerous challenges, reckless conduct, or harmful medical behavior.
- Supportive, recovery-focused, educational, or safety-oriented discussion may be allowed when it is not graphic, instructional for harm, or exploitative.
- If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
9. Scams, Fraud, Donations, and Payments
Do not use Qannects for scams, fraud, phishing, fake support, fake payment links, deceptive fundraising, misleading donation appeals, fake receipts, false emergency claims, fake event listings, false charity claims, manipulated reviews, pyramid schemes, investment scams, or attempts to obtain passwords, verification codes, payment credentials, or private information.
- Organizations and workspace operators must keep donation appeals, payment requests, receipts, organization profiles, and public updates accurate and accountable.
- Do not promote illegal financial activity, money laundering, stolen payment methods, unauthorized charges, chargeback abuse, gambling or betting, deceptive contests, predatory lending, or fundraising for unlawful, exploitative, or misleading purposes.
- Qannects may restrict payment or donation activity based on safety risk, payment processor requirements, legal requirements, organization disputes, fraud indicators, or misuse of platform tools.
10. Illegal, Regulated, or Harmful Goods and Services
Do not use Qannects to sell, solicit, facilitate, or promote illegal, prohibited, exploitative, unsafe, deceptive, or policy-inconsistent goods or services.
- This includes unlawful drugs, trafficking, exploitation, stolen goods, malware, illegal weapons activity, forged documents, unauthorized access tools, or other activity that violates law or platform policy.
- Store is currently treated as demo, preview, or pilot posture unless Qannects explicitly launches it as a public marketplace. Delivery services are not deployed as public services at this stage.
- Future Store or delivery services, if launched publicly, will require additional commerce, seller, delivery, payout, refund, dispute, worker-safety, and permissible-goods rules before production release.
11. Spam, Malware, and Platform Abuse
Do not spam, scrape, automate abuse, distribute malware, manipulate engagement, evade rate limits, create fake accounts, buy or sell accounts, abuse invitations, misuse notifications, overload systems, interfere with service reliability, or attack Qannects systems.
- Do not use Qannects to send unwanted bulk messages, deceptive links, malicious attachments, suspicious QR codes, fake login pages, or content designed to trick users into leaving the platform for unsafe activity.
- Do not bypass access controls, security checks, reporting tools, content rules, attachment limits, upload checks, account restrictions, or moderation decisions.
12. Privacy, Doxxing, and Sensitive Information
Do not share another person's private or sensitive information without permission.
- This includes home addresses, phone numbers, private emails, government IDs, payment data, medical details, private family matters, private messages, credentials, exact locations, or sensitive janazah, safety, or support information that is not meant to be public.
- Do not threaten to expose private information, encourage others to find private information, or use private information to shame, control, harass, or exploit someone.
13. Intellectual Property and Creator Rights
Only upload, stream, display, or distribute content you have the right to use. Do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, privacy rights, or other rights.
- Do not submit false copyright notices, false counter-notices, fake ownership claims, or reports intended to silence lawful content.
- Watch creators and workspace operators must have rights for video, audio, images, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, live streams, and promotional materials they provide.
14. Messages and Private Interactions
Messaging features must follow these Standards. Do not use messages or attachments for harassment, threats, exploitation, scams, spam, malware, grooming, sextortion, pornography, sexually explicit or immodest content, nonconsensual intimate imagery, unlawful activity, or unwanted sexual content.
- Deleting a message or conversation may not remove it from all participants, reports, backups, logs, safety records, legal records, workspaces, or devices.
- Reports may allow Qannects to review relevant content, report bundles, or metadata as described in the Privacy Policy and feature notices.
15. Workspace, Organization, and Operator Conduct
Workspace and organization authority is a trust and responsibility. Owners, administrators, moderators, payment-device operators, and support operators must not misuse access, remove users unfairly, alter records deceptively, publish misleading content, abuse donation tools, silence good-faith reports, retaliate against users, or claim authority they do not have.
Qannects may review or restrict workspace access when there is a dispute, safety risk, fraud concern, legal issue, payment concern, or misuse of entrusted authority.
16. Watch, Live, and Display Content
Watch and display surfaces can reach broad audiences. Do not upload, stream, title, thumbnail, display, promote, or recommend content that violates these Standards, infringes rights, deceives users, exploits vulnerable people, sexualizes minors, promotes violence, encourages harassment, or conflicts with Qannects' modesty and dignity standards.
Live content may be restricted or ended if Qannects believes it creates safety, legal, rights, abuse, technical, or policy risk.
17. Reporting, Blocking, and Support
Users may report content, accounts, messages, Watch activity, donation appeals, organizations, workspaces, or safety concerns through in-product flows where available.
- Feed post reports may open a Legal Center safety request where direct moderation intake is unavailable for that surface.
- Watch video and Watch comment report submission exists where enabled.
- Messaging report and hide tools exist where messaging is enabled and may vary by conversation type.
- Users can also contact support@qannects.com with enough detail for Qannects to identify the content, account, URL, timestamp, screenshot, transaction, message, workspace, or other relevant information.
- Where blocking, hiding, or muting tools are available, users may use them to limit unwanted contact or visibility. Blocking is not a substitute for reporting serious safety, child protection, legal, fraud, or exploitation concerns.
18. Review, Enforcement, and Appeals
Qannects may review reports, automated signals, administrator escalations, legal requests, payment alerts, safety concerns, and other information available to the platform.
- Depending on the situation, Qannects may remove content, limit visibility, label content, disable comments, disable messaging, restrict uploads, restrict payment or donation tools, reject or remove donation appeals, disable Watch access, suspend live streams, restrict workspace access, require verification, preserve information, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or cooperate with payment processors or authorities where required or appropriate.
- Qannects may treat violations involving pornography, sexual exploitation, sexualized or immodest content, minors, grooming, trafficking, nonconsensual intimate imagery, credible threats, fraud, or attempts to evade rules as serious violations and may take immediate strict action.
- Qannects may prioritize child safety, credible threats, exploitation, fraud, legal requests, payment risk, and repeated abuse. Qannects does not guarantee that every report will result in the action requested by the reporter.
- Appeal or review options may be available through product flows or support, depending on the action, feature, risk, and information Qannects can safely disclose.
Qannects does not currently promise universal report tooling, report status, appeal workflows, automated scanner enforcement, duplicate matching, takedown deadlines, or response timelines unless a specific published policy or product flow says so.
19. Repeat Violations and Evasion
Repeated violations, severe violations, coordinated abuse, evasion of restrictions, creation of replacement accounts, attempts to hide ownership, or use of third parties to continue prohibited activity may lead to stronger enforcement.
Qannects may consider patterns across accounts, devices, workspaces, organizations, payment references, contact information, reports, and technical signals where allowed by law and policy.
