1. Who Can Make a Request
You may make a request about your own Qannects account or personal information.
Parents, guardians, authorized representatives, organization administrators, or legal representatives may be asked to provide proof of authority before Qannects acts on a request involving another person, child, organization, workspace, or operated surface.
Qannects may decline, limit, or ask for more information when a request cannot be verified, appears fraudulent, conflicts with another person's rights, affects organization/workspace records, concerns legal or safety records, or cannot be fulfilled because of product, technical, legal, payment, audit, security, or retention reasons.
2. Types of Requests
Depending on location, account status, and the information involved, users may request:
- Access to certain account data or information about how Qannects handles their data.
- Correction of inaccurate account/profile information where product controls or support processes allow it.
- Deletion of an account or support with a pending account deletion request.
- Review of privacy, data use, retention, or deletion questions.
- Help when a user cannot access the app but needs account deletion or data review support.
Qannects does not currently promise a self-service downloadable data export for every data category. If export or download tooling is added later, Qannects will update the policy and product flows.
3. How to Submit a Request
Users can submit a data rights or privacy request through the Qannects Legal Center request form where available, or by contacting support@qannects.com.
Include enough information for Qannects to identify the account or record, such as the account email, account name, handle, organization/workspace name, request type, relevant dates, request ID, transaction reference, content URL, screenshot, or other identifying detail.
Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, government IDs, or highly sensitive material unless Qannects specifically provides a secure and appropriate intake path.
4. Verification and Status
Qannects may verify the contact email and may require stronger verification before disclosing, correcting, deleting, or changing sensitive data.
The Qannects Legal Center may provide request IDs, contact-email verification, status tracking, and support notifications where available.
Qannects may reject or pause a request if the request email is not verified, the requester cannot be matched to the account, the request appears fraudulent, the request involves another person's data, or Qannects needs additional information.
5. Data Rights Limits
Some data rights requests cannot be fulfilled fully or immediately because Qannects must also protect other users, organizations, payment integrity, safety, legal compliance, and platform security.
- Some records may be retained for legal, security, audit, safety, payment, backup, fraud-prevention, moderation, copyright, takedown, dispute, workspace, or compliance reasons.
- Some content may remain visible to other participants, workspaces, recipients, search engines, screenshots, caches, backups, service providers, external services, or devices depending on product behavior.
- Messaging, donation/payment, Watch, workspace, report, legal request, and safety records may have different deletion and retention rules.
- Qannects may retain limited records to prevent repeat abuse, document request handling, preserve safety evidence, comply with law, or enforce policy.
6. Regional Rights
Privacy and deletion rights can vary by location. Qannects is publishing this policy for U.S. and Canada availability first, with Bangladesh planned as a future expansion requiring local-law and operational review before public availability there.
If a law gives a user specific privacy, access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, or appeal rights, Qannects will review requests according to applicable law, verified identity, product capability, and legitimate retention needs.
7. Future Store and Delivery Services
Qannects Store is currently demo, preview, or pilot only unless Qannects expressly launches it as a public marketplace. Delivery services are not deployed as public services at this stage.
If Qannects later launches public marketplace, seller, delivery, fulfillment, payout, driver, or commerce services, those services will need additional account, data, payment, retention, worker/seller, dispute, refund, delivery, and safety rules before launch.
