1. Immediate Danger
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Qannects support and reporting flows are not emergency services and should not be used as the only response to urgent physical danger, active violence, suicide risk, kidnapping, trafficking, child exploitation in progress, or another emergency.
After contacting emergency services, users may also report relevant Qannects content, accounts, messages, organizations, workspaces, Watch activity, donation appeals, or other platform activity through available product flows, the Legal Center request form, or support@qannects.com.
2. Values and Scope
Qannects policies are based on Islamic principles and values, including protection from harm, modesty, dignity, justice, truthfulness, trust, accountability, and care for vulnerable people.
This policy applies across Qannects apps, website, admin surfaces, messaging, Watch, organization pages, donation flows, events, janazah information, TV/display surfaces, legal request flows, support communications, and other Qannects services.
3. Zero Tolerance for Child Exploitation
Qannects prohibits child sexual abuse material, child sexual exploitation, grooming, sexualized content involving minors, sextortion involving minors, child trafficking, attempts to obtain sexual content from minors, instructions to exploit minors, or any conduct that endangers children.
This prohibition applies to text, images, video, audio, livestreams, thumbnails, comments, profiles, messages, attachments, links, uploads, Watch content, donation appeals, organization pages, workspace content, and any other platform surface.
Qannects may remove content, restrict visibility, disable features, preserve relevant information, suspend or terminate accounts, restrict workspaces, disable Watch access, reject donation appeals, escalate internally, report to appropriate authorities or child-safety organizations, or cooperate with lawful requests where required or appropriate.
4. Prohibited Child-Safety Conduct
Users must not use Qannects to:
- Upload, stream, share, request, sell, purchase, store, link to, describe, promote, normalize, trade, or distribute child sexual abuse material or sexualized depictions of minors.
- Groom, coerce, extort, blackmail, traffic, exploit, manipulate, threaten, or isolate a minor.
- Ask minors for intimate images, sexual messages, private contact details, secret conversations, or movement to another platform for unsafe contact.
- Send sexual, pornographic, sexually explicit, or immodest content to a minor.
- Use religious, family, school, mosque, organization, financial, immigration, employment, or community pressure to exploit a minor or family.
- Threaten to expose a minor's private information, intimate image, location, family details, school details, or safety information.
- Use messages, Watch, comments, events, janazah pages, donation flows, workspaces, organization pages, or support/legal flows to target children or families for exploitation.
- Help another person evade detection, reporting, moderation, legal obligations, account restrictions, safety restrictions, or law-enforcement review.
5. Reporting Child Safety Concerns
Users may report child safety concerns through available Qannects reporting flows, the Legal Center request form, or support@qannects.com. Include enough detail for Qannects to identify the relevant account, message, content, URL, screenshot, timestamp, workspace, Watch item, donation appeal, organization, or other platform location.
Do not send illegal child sexual abuse material to Qannects. Report the account, URL, message, content identifier, or platform location instead of re-uploading, forwarding, saving, or redistributing harmful material.
In the United States, suspected online child sexual exploitation can also be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children CyberTipline at https://report.cybertip.org/. In Canada, suspected online child sexual exploitation can be reported to Cybertip.ca at https://www.cybertip.ca/. Users in other regions should contact the appropriate local authority or child-safety reporting organization.
6. Nonconsensual Intimate Imagery and Sextortion
Qannects prohibits nonconsensual intimate imagery, threats to share intimate imagery, sextortion, sexual blackmail, digitally altered intimate imagery shared without consent, and attempts to coerce sexual content, money, silence, or behavior by threatening exposure.
This applies to adults and minors. When minors are involved, Qannects treats the matter as a child-safety issue and may escalate accordingly.
Users may submit removal or safety requests through available product flows, the Legal Center request flow, or support@qannects.com. A request should include enough information for Qannects to identify the content or account without requiring the affected person to reshare the intimate image or video.
7. Grooming, Predatory Contact, and Boundary Violations
Qannects prohibits adults or older users from building trust with minors for sexual, exploitative, coercive, trafficking, or harmful purposes.
- Examples include asking a minor to move to private channels for secrecy, requesting intimate images, sending sexual content, pressuring a minor to hide conversations from parents or guardians, offering gifts or money for sexual content, threatening exposure, or using religious/community authority to manipulate a minor or family.
- Adults who interact with minors through family, school, mosque, event, organization, donation, Watch, workspace, TV/display, or support contexts must keep boundaries appropriate, transparent, lawful, and accountable.
8. Family, School, Mosque, and Organization Contexts
Qannects may be used by families, mosques, schools, organizations, event teams, and community administrators in supervised contexts. Adults who manage pages, events, displays, workspaces, donation tools, or communications involving minors must use that access responsibly.
Do not publish private details about minors, families, school activity, janazah matters, safety incidents, medical details, locations, attendance, guardianship disputes, or sensitive community concerns unless you have proper authority and a legitimate purpose.
9. Age and Personal Account Posture
Personal account creation is limited to users who meet the age requirements in the Terms of Service.
Qannects does not intend to create personal accounts for children under 13 unless a reviewed parental-consent, child-privacy, and child-safety workflow is in place.
Qannects may still serve children and families through parent/guardian, organization, mosque, school, event, TV/display, or supervised community contexts.
10. Messaging Safety
Messaging features must not be used for child exploitation, grooming, sextortion, threats, harassment, nonconsensual intimate imagery, trafficking, scams, malware, illegal activity, pornography, sexually explicit or immodest content, or unwanted sexual contact.
Messaging privacy may differ by context. Private direct messages, workspace-visible conversations, support conversations, commerce/support conversations, and reported messages may have different visibility and review models.
Reports may allow Qannects to review relevant content, report bundles, or metadata as described in the Privacy Policy and feature notices. Deleting a message or conversation may not remove copies from other participants, reports, backups, logs, safety records, legal records, workspaces, or devices.
11. Watch, Live, Uploads, and Display Content
Watch, live, uploaded, thumbnail, title, description, comment, and display content must not involve child exploitation, sexualized minors, grooming, harassment, threats, nonconsensual intimate imagery, trafficking, violence, self-harm encouragement, pornography, sexually explicit or immodest content, or other safety violations.
Qannects may restrict uploads, remove content, end live streams, disable comments, suspend creator access, preserve relevant records, or escalate safety concerns when Watch or display content creates safety, legal, rights, abuse, or child-protection risk.
12. Self-Harm and Crisis Content
Do not encourage suicide, self-harm, eating-disorder behavior, dangerous challenges, or harmful medical conduct.
Supportive, recovery-focused, educational, or safety-oriented content may be allowed when it is not graphic, instructional for harm, exploitative, targeted at vulnerable users for abuse, or used to shame or harass someone.
If someone appears to be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
13. Trafficking, Coercion, and Exploitation
Qannects prohibits human trafficking, sexual exploitation, forced labor, coercion, blackmail, threats, predatory recruitment, or use of religious, family, financial, immigration, employment, or community pressure to exploit another person.
Qannects may restrict content, accounts, workspaces, donation appeals, messages, Watch activity, or other platform activity connected to trafficking or exploitation risk.
14. Preservation, Review, and Legal Requests
When Qannects receives a safety report, child-safety concern, legal request, payment alert, administrator escalation, or abuse signal, Qannects may preserve relevant records and review available information consistent with law, platform policy, and product capability.
Preservation may include content, metadata, reports, timestamps, account identifiers, workspace records, payment references, device or technical signals, and related communications where available and appropriate.
Qannects may cooperate with lawful requests from authorities and may report serious safety or child protection issues where required or appropriate.
15. Current Operational Boundaries
Qannects is building safety systems in stages. This policy should not be read as a claim that every safety workflow is fully automated, that every harmful copy can currently be detected, that all content is pre-screened, or that every report can be resolved within a specific time unless a specific legal requirement and operational workflow applies.
Qannects does not currently claim full duplicate-image matching, child-safety scanner workers, mature appeal operations, statutory SLA automation, or universal moderation coverage until those systems are implemented and operationally approved.
16. Future Store and Delivery Services
Store is currently demo, preview, or pilot posture unless Qannects explicitly launches it as a public marketplace. Delivery services are not deployed as public services at this stage.
If Qannects later launches public marketplace, seller, delivery, fulfillment, payout, or driver services, those services will need additional safety terms and operational controls before launch. Those controls should address permissible goods, worker and seller safety, delivery safety, identity and role verification, anti-trafficking requirements, anti-exploitation requirements, refunds, disputes, and safety escalation.
