1. Purpose and Scope
This policy explains how people can request review or removal of nonconsensual intimate imagery, intimate digital forgeries, sextortion-related content, and related abuse that may appear on Qannects services.
This policy applies to Qannects apps, website, Legal Center request flows, posts, comments, messages where review is available through reports or lawful processes, Watch content, live streams, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, organization pages, workspace content, donation pages, events, janazah information, TV/display content, and other Qannects services where applicable.
This policy works with the Safety and Child Protection Policy, Community Standards, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Messaging Notice, Watch rules, and Legal Center request process.
2. Immediate Danger
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Qannects support and reporting flows are not emergency services.
If the situation involves child sexual exploitation, grooming, trafficking, sextortion involving a minor, or a child in immediate danger, also review the Qannects Safety and Child Protection Policy and report to appropriate child-safety authorities where required or appropriate.
3. What This Policy Covers
This policy covers requests involving intimate photos, videos, or digital forgeries that were shared, threatened, posted, uploaded, streamed, displayed, or distributed without the depicted person's consent.
- Nonconsensual intimate photos or videos.
- Threats to share intimate images or videos.
- Sextortion or sexual blackmail.
- Intimate digital forgeries, including AI-generated or digitally altered intimate content.
- Intimate content involving minors or content created when the depicted person was under 18.
- Reposts or known identical copies of content that was already reported.
When minors are involved, Qannects treats the matter as a child-safety issue and may escalate accordingly.
4. Who Can Submit a Request
You may submit a request if you are the person depicted in the content, a parent or guardian, an authorized representative, or another person with a legitimate safety basis to report the content.
You do not need a Qannects account to submit a request through the Legal Center or support email where those paths are available.
Qannects may ask for enough information to verify the request, communicate with the requester, locate the content, and reduce fraudulent or abusive requests.
5. How to Submit a Request
You can submit a Take It Down request through the Qannects Legal Center request form where available or by contacting support@qannects.com.
A Take It Down request should confirm that you are the depicted person or are authorized to submit the request, and should confirm that the information provided is accurate.
Legal Center requests may receive a request ID, email verification, and status lookup where available. Keep your request ID for follow-up.
- Include a Qannects URL, content ID, message report, Watch video ID, live stream ID, post link, comment link, profile, workspace, organization page, account handle, or other location detail.
- Include a timestamp, title, thumbnail description, account name, conversation context, or screenshot that does not unnecessarily expose intimate content.
- Briefly explain why the content is nonconsensual, forged, threatened, or abusive.
- Provide a contact email so Qannects can verify and communicate about the request.
6. Evidence Handling
Do not upload, forward, save, or redistribute child sexual abuse material to Qannects. Report the account, URL, message, content identifier, or platform location instead.
For nonconsensual adult intimate imagery, report the location of the content unless Qannects provides a secure, lawful, and appropriate evidence path and specifically asks for additional evidence.
Private file evidence upload is not public-ready unless Qannects explicitly enables it for the request. If file upload is unavailable, the request can still be submitted with URLs, content IDs, descriptions, and other location details.
7. Review and Possible Actions
Qannects may review the request, verify the contact email, ask for more information, inspect available platform records, preserve relevant records, restrict content, remove content, disable access, limit visibility, suspend accounts, disable messaging, restrict Watch access, escalate to safety/legal review, or cooperate with lawful requests where required or appropriate.
Qannects may prioritize requests involving minors, credible threats, sextortion, trafficking, active harassment, public exposure, repeated abuse, or ongoing safety risk.
Qannects does not guarantee that every request will result in the exact action requested, especially when the request cannot be verified, the content cannot be located, the content is outside Qannects services, the report is fraudulent or abusive, or another legal or safety process applies.
8. Known Copies and Duplicate Content
Some laws may require covered platforms to remove known identical copies of validly reported nonconsensual intimate imagery within statutory timelines.
Qannects is building legal request and evidence workflows in stages. Qannects does not currently claim full automated duplicate detection, hash matching, scanner workers, external hash sharing, or statutory SLA automation until those systems are implemented, staffed, and approved.
Known-copy handling depends on the request type, available evidence, applicable law, and Qannects' operational capability at the time of review.
9. Minors and External Support Tools
If the content involves a person who was under 18 when the image or video was created, the matter may involve child sexual exploitation and should be handled as a child-safety issue.
In the United States, suspected online child sexual exploitation can be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children CyberTipline at https://report.cybertip.org/.
NCMEC's Take It Down service at https://takeitdown.ncmec.org/ may help people who have nude, partially nude, or sexually explicit images or videos of themselves from when they were under 18. For adults, StopNCII at https://stopncii.org/ may provide similar support for nonconsensual intimate imagery.
Qannects does not currently claim an operational integration with NCMEC Take It Down, StopNCII, external hash-sharing systems, or automated scanner workers unless a specific later notice says those integrations are live.
10. Retention and Privacy
Take It Down requests may involve highly sensitive information. Qannects may retain request details, contact verification records, status history, internal notes, content identifiers, timestamps, evidence references, and decision records for legal, safety, audit, abuse-prevention, compliance, and support reasons.
Qannects may limit what it can disclose to the requester or affected account when disclosure would create safety risk, expose private information, interfere with legal obligations, or affect another person's rights.
11. False or Abusive Requests
Do not submit false, misleading, impersonated, retaliatory, or abusive Take It Down requests. Do not use this process to harass others, suppress lawful content, reveal private information, or manipulate Qannects review systems.
False or abusive requests may be rejected and may lead to account, workspace, or legal consequences.
12. Future Store and Delivery Services
Store is currently demo, preview, or pilot posture unless Qannects explicitly launches it as a public marketplace. Delivery services are not deployed as public services at this stage.
If Qannects later launches public marketplace, seller, delivery, fulfillment, payout, driver, or commerce services, those services will need additional anti-exploitation, safety, evidence, reporting, and review rules before launch.
13. Contact
Take It Down requests or questions can be sent to support@qannects.com or submitted through the Qannects Legal Center request form where available.
