1. Purpose and Scope
These Watch and Creator Terms apply when a person views, searches, shares, likes, dislikes, comments on, reports, uploads, publishes, streams, manages, moderates, or otherwise uses Qannects Watch, creator channels, studio tools, live sessions, video comments, channel subscriptions, Watch notifications, analytics, copyright tools, or related video surfaces.
Watch publishing is a trust and responsibility. Qannects expects viewers, creators, channel operators, workspace admins, live operators, moderators, and platform operators to use video features truthfully, respectfully, lawfully, and consistently with Qannects' Islamic principles and values.
Not every Watch, Studio, channel, upload, comment, analytics, live, TV/display, or copyright feature is available to every account, channel, workspace, region, device, release, trust tier, or product surface.
2. Creator and Channel Responsibility
Creators, channel owners, workspace operators, admins, editors, and live operators are responsible for the content and activity they publish or manage through Watch.
You must have all rights, permissions, licenses, releases, and authority needed to upload, publish, stream, record, thumbnail, describe, tag, link, promote, or otherwise use content on Watch.
This includes rights for video, audio, images, music, recitations, lectures, khutbahs, nasheeds, podcasts, captions, thumbnails, logos, names, likenesses, third-party clips, livestream recordings, event footage, school or mosque footage, family footage, and any content involving children or private individuals.
Workspace-operated channels must be controlled only by authorized people. Channel authority, uploads, live access, studio access, and public channel identity are subject to workspace/admin policy, role permissions, verification, trust tier, platform review, and enforcement.
3. Watch Content Standards
Watch content must comply with Qannects policies and applicable law. Qannects may set stricter standards than generic video platforms because Qannects is based on Islamic principles and values.
Do not upload, stream, promote, link to, thumbnail, title, describe, comment, or otherwise use Watch for pornography, sexually explicit material, immodest sexualized content, sexual exploitation, sexualized content involving minors, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, nonconsensual intimate imagery, harassment, threats, bullying, hate, stalking, doxxing, intimidation, incitement, targeted abuse, scams, fraud, deceptive fundraising, fake religious authority, manipulated metrics, impersonation, misleading organization claims, unlawful violence, dangerous instructions, self-harm encouragement, exploitation of tragedy, copyright infringement, trademark misuse, privacy violations, unauthorized recordings, unauthorized commercial use, malware, spam, scraping, circumvention, or platform abuse.
Content is not acceptable merely because it appears in audio, background video, thumbnail art, title text, description text, comments, links, captions, screen sharing, live chat, or another indirect form.
Qannects may restrict content even if the content is lawful where Qannects believes the content is inconsistent with Qannects policy, product safety, Islamic values, community trust, user privacy, modesty, or child protection.
4. Uploads, Processing, and Publishing
Watch uploads, source files, thumbnails, channel images, live sessions, and video assets may be processed by Qannects and third-party providers for upload, storage, transcoding, thumbnails, playback, live ingest, delivery, recording, analytics, moderation, search, safety review, copyright review, technical support, and product operations.
Qannects may reject, delay, fail, block, detach, delete, transcode, reprocess, unpublish, restore, archive, hide, restrict, or remove videos, thumbnails, live sessions, recordings, comments, links, and other Watch records.
Publishing is not guaranteed. A video or live session may remain private, unlisted, unpublished, held for review, blocked, removed, interrupted, failed, detached, deleted, playback-blocked, or otherwise unavailable because of technical state, provider state, moderation status, copyright status, review state, channel status, workspace status, trust tier, account state, legal request, safety risk, or policy enforcement.
5. Live Streams and Recordings
Live access may be disabled, enabled, suspended, limited, or conditioned on manual platform approval, workspace plan, partner status, trust tier, policy exception, or other approved criteria.
Live sessions may use third-party live infrastructure, ingest credentials, stream keys, broadcaster tokens, playback URLs, recording providers, and runtime jobs. Live service may be interrupted, delayed, disconnected, ended, force-ended, recording-disabled, recording-processing, recorded, failed, or unavailable.
Creators and operators are responsible for what occurs during live sessions, including speaker conduct, background content, comments, screen sharing, audio, music, audience participation, emergency situations, and children or private people shown in the stream.
Qannects may interrupt, end, disable, remove, restrict, or preserve live streams or recordings for safety, copyright, legal, technical, operational, provider, or policy reasons. Qannects does not guarantee uninterrupted live streaming, permanent replay availability, emergency review coverage, or live monetization.
6. Viewer Activity, Analytics, and Notifications
Watch may collect and process viewing activity, impressions, watch progress, watch completion, session identifiers, country/locale signals, device/app data, search activity, likes, dislikes, shares, subscriptions, notification preferences, watch history, liked videos, continue-watching state, comments, reports, and other interaction data.
Qannects may use Watch activity to operate playback, recommendations, search, channel analytics, creator analytics, abuse prevention, moderation, copyright review, notification delivery, support, security, product improvement, legal compliance, and enforcement.
Creators, workspace operators, and admins may receive aggregated or contextual analytics for their channels and content. Qannects does not promise creators access to all viewer identities or all raw viewer data.
Users may have product controls for watch history, subscriptions, notifications, likes, or other activity where those controls are available. Deleting or hiding an item in one surface may not delete all analytics, logs, reports, legal records, safety records, backups, or creator-facing aggregate metrics.
7. Comments and Community Interaction
Watch comments, replies, likes, dislikes, reports, creator comments, pinned comments, hidden comments, held comments, deleted comments, and blocked comments are subject to Qannects policies.
Creators and channel operators may have moderation tools where enabled, but Qannects may also moderate, restrict, remove, preserve, or review comments and related records.
Do not use Watch comments for pornography, sexually explicit or immodest content, harassment, hate, threats, sectarian abuse, gossip, slander, exploitation, scams, spam, child safety violations, doxxing, copyright violations, deceptive fundraising, or other prohibited conduct.
8. Reports, Moderation, and Enforcement
Users may report Watch videos and comments where reporting controls are available.
Qannects may create moderation jobs, review reports, preserve evidence, restrict playback, hide comments, hold content for review, block content, remove content, limit channels, suspend upload or publishing access, disable live access, issue copyright strikes, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or take other enforcement action.
Moderation may use user reports, metadata, thumbnails, text, sampled frames, transcripts, provider signals, copyright claims, platform review, workspace review, and other available evidence.
Qannects does not promise universal automated video scanning, always-on human review, or guaranteed review timelines unless those operations are specifically enabled and approved for the relevant environment.
9. Copyright, DMCA, and Repeat Infringement
Creators and channel operators must not upload or stream content unless they have the rights needed to do so.
Rights holders may submit copyright reports through available Watch, Legal Center, or support flows. Copyright reports may require owner information, claimant information, contact email, original work details, allegedly infringing URL or content, legal certification, signature, and other information needed for review.
Qannects may block playback, remove visibility, remove content, reject claims, restore content, request more information, preserve records, issue copyright strikes, release strikes, or process counter-notices according to product capability, law, provider requirements, and Qannects policy.
Creators may be able to submit counter-notices after certain copyright enforcement actions. Counter-notices may require contact details, address, phone, statement, signature, legal attestation, jurisdiction consent, and other required information.
Qannects may suspend or terminate accounts, channels, or upload privileges for repeat infringement or serious rights violations.
10. Monetization, Ads, Sponsorships, and Entitlements
Unless Qannects publishes separate monetization terms and enables the relevant features, Qannects does not promise ad revenue, creator payouts, paid channel subscriptions, sponsor-only access, revenue sharing, guaranteed eligibility, guaranteed recommendations, or guaranteed distribution.
If monetization is later enabled, Qannects will need separate terms covering eligibility, content suitability, payment providers, payouts, taxes, zakat disclaimers, refunds, chargebacks, fraud, sanctions, prohibited content, sponsor disclosures, ad policy, reporting, suspension, termination, and appeals.
11. Account Deletion and Content Removal
Deleting an account may not automatically delete all Watch content, comments, channel records, workspace-operated videos, live recordings, reports, copyright claims, counter-notices, strikes, analytics, support records, legal/safety records, backups, or data controlled by a workspace or another authorized operator.
Deleting, unpublishing, or removing a video may not delete every copy, thumbnail, live recording, report, copyright record, user history record, aggregate metric, provider record, legal hold, safety hold, backup, device copy, or externally shared link.
Data rights and account deletion are addressed in the Data Rights and Delete Account Policy.
12. Future Store and Delivery Services
Store is currently demo, preview, or pilot posture unless Qannects explicitly launches it as a public marketplace. Delivery services are not deployed as public services at this stage.
If Qannects later launches public marketplace, seller, buyer, driver, delivery, fulfillment, payout, order support, or related delivery services, Watch content used for commerce, reviews, products, promotions, sellers, live shopping, disputes, or delivery will need additional commerce, advertising, product-safety, permissible-goods, refund, seller, buyer, and operator terms before public launch.
13. Watch Acceptance and Updates
Qannects may require creators, channel operators, workspace owners, admins, editors, live operators, moderators, or other role holders to review and accept Watch/Creator Terms before creating a channel, uploading, publishing, streaming, moderating, using studio tools, accessing analytics, or using creator features.
If Qannects materially changes Watch publishing, moderation, analytics, live, copyright, monetization, or creator rules, Qannects may require renewed acceptance before continued use of affected Watch or creator features.
Watch/Creator acceptance is a context-specific gate for Watch and creator authority, not a substitute for global Terms and Privacy acceptance.
